Lower-grade copper alloys fail rapidly, resulting in nozzle erosion, exit orifice deformation, and unstable gas flow patterns that lead to cut failure. Tellurium Copper provides excellent electrical and thermal conductivity (over 93% IACS) while maintaining superior machinability. The interior chamber of a laser nozzle dictates the flow characteristics of the cutting gas (Oxygen, Nitrogen, or Compressed Air). Our engineering team optimizes the internal nozzle geometry to prevent turbulent flow. This is critical for high-pressure nitrogen cutting where laminar gas flow is required to cleanly eject molten metal from the kerf without forming dross. By ensuring a uniform gas column, our nozzles minimize beam clipping issues and ensure excellent cut edge quality.
